Kangaroo Comes To Warrington

It’s not often you see a kangaroo on the streets of an English town – but that’s just what Warrington has seen recently.  Roo has been getting familiar with some of the landmarks across town as she settles into the area.

What’s more, Roo has some good news for anyone in need of storage.  If you need domestic storage, business storage or student storage – Kangaroo Self Storage on Lythgoes Lane has just the space for you.

Previously Smart Storage, we’ve been in business in the North West of England for over 15 years – so our team knows a thing or two about what local people need from their storage supplier.  Our self-storage centre has had a bit of a makeover, but we’re still focused on offering great customer service.  #KangarooKan

Access is Easy

We’re right off the A49 in the middle of town and we have a large, clean and tidy loading bay so moving in is easy too.  Then, when you’re in store we’ve pallet trucks and trollies to make moving personal belongings and stock to the individual storage units as simple as it can be.  We have a wide lift that supports goods and passengers – so whether your unit is on the ground floor or not – it’s not exhausting moving in.

When you store your belongings with us, we know you put your trust in us too.  So, our store has a 24hour security monitoring system, access door entry controls, intruder alarms and regularly maintained fire management systems.

Flexibility

Now especially, whilst life is still as unpredictable as ever, we understand that you may not be able to say with certainty just how long you are going to need your storage unit.  At Kangaroo we have an ‘easy in, easy out’ agreement – there’s no long-term contract – for all our standard units, you just provide 14 days' notice to leave.  And, if you need to upscale or downsize your unit, that’s fine too.  There’s no charge and if the unit size is available, you can change your unit right there and then.

We provide a couple of other services that many of our small business customers find particularly helpful.  These include free WIFI and a free delivery receipts service – so you can get deliveries sent right to the store and we’ll accept them on your behalf and notify you when they arrive – you’re focusing on doing your business and we’re just pleased to be able to support you.  If you need to be on the road or with a client in the early hours, we support extended hours access.  Just ask our team for extended hours and the team can arrange this for you – you just need to ask.  It is a ‘by arrangement service’ as this helps to maintain the security of the building.  And, we have mailboxes located in reception – so you can have your mail sent to us too.

There’s a small kitchen area so if you need to be in store for any length of time – you can have a cup of tea as well.

Happy To Help

Our team is led by Kelly McDermott – she’s been with our company for many years, originally at our Widnes self-storage centre.  Kelly says; “If you’re a people person like me working in storage is fascinating.  Our customers use storage for all kinds of reasons and share those stories with us.  Sometimes you can tell it’s stressful – if customers are getting ready to sell their homes, or are in the midst of the move, if we can make the storage simple, it’s one less thing for them to worry about.

“Our business customers are often juggling stock and supply chain issues – again, if we can ensure safe receipt of their goods – it’s just one less worry for them.  I think we provide much more than a space for people’s things – it’s peace of mind and someone to help.”
